German sports car maker Porsche has unveiled a facelifted version of the iconic 911 which in current 997-guise, was first launched in 2004.
While Porsche aficionados will spot the subtle tweaks in styling - new front bumper incorporating LED daytime running lights, restyled head and taillights (with LED), new wheels - the biggest changes are mechanical including direct fuel injection for the first time ever and the debut of the Porsche-Doppelkupplung (PDK) - Porsche-speak for double-clutch gearbox.
